This front grille is made of stainless steel in both – the silver and black versions.
It combines look and function as follows:
Very lightweight
Rust resistant
Being stainless steel (and not aluminum), provides very effective resistance to even larger stone hits, protects the radiators/intercoolers
Open mesh pattern allows nearly unrestricted air flow
Good decorative effect, preventing sight over engine internals in both versions
Matches mesh pattern of the Jass Performance TSI options
