UPRATED GEAR LEVER UPPER SHIFT BOOT
Changing the shift boot is not only expensive, but also annoying on MX5s, as the OEM ones do last between a year and two and the bad smell and noise gets introduced again into the passenger compartment.
The Jass Performance uprated upper shift boots are direct replacement to the OEM ones for 5 and 6 speed gearboxes and for MK1, MK2 and MK2.5 model /NA, NB, NBFL/. They are designed to last for as long as the car rolls, already tested for years on fast roads and track. Their underside insulation is heat resistant and much thicker to ensure both – 100% sealing plus additional noise and heat insulation.
